Just a short message from my end, but the changes that were documented in the previous news message ([link]https://pitwall.org/news/88[/link]) are now live.

Because some database changes are required, the updates have been paused while an upgrade script runs. Once this has been completed, the missing hour and day updates will be caught up.

Just a very quick immediate question - when I promote someone from the Academy (I tried to see what I would get), the section where I can change investment levels disappears - when does this come back?

Good point, it does disappear together with the promote functionality. I'll try to bring it back even when already having promoted someone.

Thank you - another point on staff, the sheer volume of staff is quite eye catching! Are there plans to reduce the volume of staff, most of which are quite poor talent wise?

With the new Academy system pushing new staff into the talent pool, perhaps staff that have not been offered a job after 5 seasons on the market could be removed - let's face it, 5 years unemployed they might like to consider an alternative career! :)

I have yet to find the area where you are able to train a member of staff. Am I missing something?
