Could someone clarify whether it’s possible to develop S47 parts using the S46 parts as a base?

I tried creating them in the S46 tab, but the parts automatically appeared in the Cars page, even though they were intended for the S47 chassis. When I switch to the S47 tab, the Upgrade Unlock for the concept shows 0%, despite being 100% unlocked in S46.

Is this expected behaviour, or am I missing a step?

for every S47 parts you have to select S47 in the development page. from what is my understanding S46 parts of the same concept are always used as a base, automatically

No, you will need to create new parts for S47 on the S47 tab. The first S47 parts will build on your S46 parts (so if you had a gearbox with Shift time at 35% then your first design of your S47 part will higher than this).

But - because you can't test your S47 parts you can only do one upgrade. You can't do multiple upgrades of next season's parts.

So if you have already made a S47 part then any new S46 upgrades WON'T be taken into account for next season.
